University Games

The New Zealand University Games were held in Southland Invercargill in April 2010. They are to be held in Auckland for the 2011 year.

The first University games were held in 1902 and now over 100 years later they attract over 1000 competitors across 24 sports.

Stadium Southland was the hub of the 2010 games, and has since been severely damaged when its roof collapsed under the weight of snow.
